Story:

"Seashore Rendez-vous" is a highly story-oriented visual novel where a trip to the seashore which was supposed to be boring when your friends failed you, turns into something exciting thanks to meeting new people.

This game started as an entry in a game jam but turned out to be much more demanding, as I decided to write more than a single story into it. Right now there are two storylines that separate at a certain point as you choose your new acquaintance at some point.

Remember, it's always good to go to the beach ;)

how do you display the large images without breaking the 192 unique tile limit?

They are specially doctored to be within the limit. Many tiles are just repeated, but there are 2-3 versions of each to make them look unique. Also, the skies do a lot to hammer down the number of tiles :)

that's cool, and great job. currently tangling with a vn on gb studios myself, thanks for the tips!

Thanks! And good luck :)

Very atmospheric game, it really brought back that feeling of vn's in the 90's and I love that so much! It was calm and sweet! Great job!
